At Google I/O 2018, the goal was to translate Google’s hardware ecosystem into a tactile, human‑scaled experience—something approachable, outdoors, and unmistakably “Made by Google.” The environment was crafted as an open‑air product garden, where natural materials, warm wood textures, and greenery softened the technology and made it feel lived‑in rather than displayed.

The booth invited attendees to explore Google’s devices as everyday companions. Pixel, Nest, and Google Home products were showcased on modular wooden shelving that echoed the simplicity and clarity of Google’s design language. Each zone was intentionally framed to feel like a small vignette—an honest, grounded moment where hardware and lifestyle intersect.
