Overview

An immersive centerpiece for the Tableau Conference, this installation transformed the idea of “diving into data” into a playful, physical experience. Visitors stepped into vibrant pits filled with color‑coded foam shapes, moving through data as if it were a tangible landscape. The elevated walkway and sculptural DATA wall framed the journey, turning exploration into a moment of discovery and delight. The design invited attendees to feel the joy, curiosity, and openness at the heart of Tableau’s mission — making data something you don’t just analyze, but step into.

As part of the design team, I collaborated in the experiential development of this installation, shaping the concept through detailed space‑planning, architectural logic, and 3D visualization.
Design work involved the design of environments in 3ds Max, Rhino, and Unreal, building a world that transformed an abstract idea into a tactile, playful experience. The design work guided how people moved, interacted, and discovered the space — ensuring the design felt intentional, immersive, and alive.
